10.08.2013 The ribbon cutting ceremony will symbolize the completion of Phase I of Global Center construction and will provide an invitation-only audience with an Advance Preview of showrooms nearing completion, including Cardinal Health, GE Healthcare, University Hospitals/Philips, and HIMSS. Phase II, including the opening of an anticipated 12 additional showrooms and an opening of the facility to the general public, is scheduled for February, 2014 and Phase III is set for fall, 2014.


The Global Center is the only facility in the world that displays the future of health and healthcare, showcasing health and health care innovation, education, and commerce through state-of-the-art spaces, programs, and virtual offerings while building on the rich heritage and distinctive capability of Northeast Ohio health care. The Global Center features four themed floors, including Health and Home on the first floor, highlighted by the State of the Art Patient Home, People, Patients, and Caregivers on the second floor, Clinical Spaces on the third floor, and Healthcare information technology on the fourth floor.
