County Executive FitzGerald to Speak Out Against Foreclosure

CLEVELAND ‐ Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald will be joined by representatives of local counseling agencies, government officials, and local law enforcement outside of Cleveland Public Auditorium today at 4:00 p.m. The Executive will be speaking to discourage individuals from attending the upcoming American Dream event sponsored by Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). The Executive has been actively advocating against foreclosure scams and this type of preying on our citizens. Taking a collaborative approach to foreclosure prevention and restoration is a primary principle of the Executive’s Western Reserve Plan.

WHO: County Executive FitzGerald and representatives from local counseling agencies.

WHAT: A press conference discouraging local residents from attending the upcoming American Dream event.

WHERE: Front steps of Cleveland Public Auditorium (Lakeside Avenue across from City Hall).
