Community Leaders Call on Congress to Protect Jobs and Take Action to Renew the Wind Production Tax Credit

Representative Marcy Kaptur, County Executive Ed FitzGerald, and Community Leaders Call on Congress to Protect Jobs and Take Action to Renew the Wind Production Tax Credit
Cleveland, OH – On Monday, November 19, 2012, Sierra Club will host the Honorable Representative Marcy Kaptur, County Executive Ed FitzGerald, and community partners at a press conference to call for the renewal of the federal wind production tax credit. Speakers from Lake Erie Energy Development Corporation (LEED Co.), local manufacturer Cardinal Fastener, the Blue Green Alliance, and Cleveland State University will stand with the Congresswoman to describe the benefits of clean energy production to the local economy.
Community leaders will call on Congress to renew the federal Wind Production Tax Credit.
