CLEVELAND –
Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish will join Cuyahoga County Chief George Taylor, Medical Examiner Thomas Gilson and community organizations in the 3rd Annual Missing Persons commemoration and awareness day.

“The missing remain front and center in our minds and in our efforts,” said County Executive Armond Budish. “We will continue to work together to bring every missing person home to their loved ones.”

Missing Persons Day is free and open to the public. At the event, family members can access resources from community organizations; learn about preventative steps; speak with officers who will take tips on old cases and conduct interviews on new cases; and interact with over a dozen community organizations. Parking is free in the Huntington Park Garage and a lite lunch will be provided.

Missing Persons Day will also include a Memorial Service.

Sheriff Cliff Pinkney said, “Missing Persons Day strikes at my heart. For the parents and loved ones of a missing person, for the missing people themselves. We must all work to bring them home.”
